Postage & Delivery
Piece of Cake Parties & Celebrations deliver within Australia and Internationally. All prices listed on our website are in Australian dollars.
Delivery within Australia
What are your dispatch & delivery timeframes?
Orders will be dispatched within 24 – 48 hours of receiving full payment, though where possible we get them out the same day!
Parcels are sent via Australia Post and approximate delivery timeframe is between 1 – 10 working days depending on location.
What are your postage & packaging fees?
The following flat rate fees apply for postage & packaging Australia Wide:
- WA Regular Post - $10.00
- WA Registered Post - $13.00
- All Other States/Territories Regular Post - $14.00
- All Other States/Territories Registered Post - $17.00
We also offer FREE delivery/regular postage for:
- All orders placed over $200.00 (within Australia only)
- Addresses in Ellenbrook, Henley Brook, Aveley & The Vines WA
What’s the difference between Regular & Registered Post other than the cost?
Regular post is your standard & most cost effective postage option. There is no tracking of the item available and no compensation available from Australia Post or Piece of Cake Parties & Celebrations in the unfortunate event that it is lost, delayed or damaged during transit.
Registered Post has the ability to track your parcel and the option to claim compensation from Australia Post for loss or damage of the parcel up to $100.00. Signature is required on delivery of registered items.
Do you offer Express Post?
Yes! We can offer express post however additional fees may apply above our standard rates as express postage will be based on weight and destination. Please leave a note stating you would like express post in the comments box at checkout then select & pay for regular post as your postage option. We will then contact you via email regarding additional fees for express postage.
Not all locations are within the Australia Post guaranteed next day delivery network and parcels can take from 1 – 3 business days for delivery. Unfortunately we can not guarantee delivery times.
I want to save on postage fees - can I pick up my order?
Yes! Pick up is available from Ellenbrook WA. Simply choose pick up at checkout and we will email you to arrange a suitable time for collection. Orders must be paid for prior to collection via one of our accepted payment methods, unfortunately cash is not accepted on pick up.
Postage on Really Little Orders & Really Big Orders
We have flat rate postage in place to make the ordering process as quick and easy as possible & have set our flat rate prices based on our average order weight/size postage & packaging cost.
We know that with flat rate postage it’s really great when you order big & only have to pay a flat rate fee & we cover the rest, however it can also seem like a lot when you only have a little order to place.
If you are placing a little order & think the postage price would be significantly different to our flat rate please feel free to email us prior to placing your order to discuss. Also, we hope you understand that on occasion if the postage on your order is significantly greater than our flat rate fee we may need to pass along these costs and we will contact you via email to discuss.
International Delivery
What are your dispatch & delivery timeframes?
Orders will be dispatched within 24 – 48 hours of receiving full payment of both order and postage fees.
Parcels are sent via Australia Post and delivery timeframe will differ depending on location. We will provide an approximate timeframe provided by Australia Post however we can unfortunately not offer any guarantee on delivery times.
What are the International postage & packaging fees?
Postage fees for International orders will be based on weight and destination and therefore will be invoiced AFTER you have placed your order (you will not be charged a shipping fee at checkout.)
We will send through a postage payment request via PayPal (you will receive an email copy of this request) within 24 business hours so please ensure you check your emails. Postage payment is then due within 24 hours to avoid delays in dispatch.
It is highly recommended that you contact us via email prior to placing an International order to obtain a postage quote as a 10% restocking fee will apply if you decide to cancel your order once placed and after you have been invoiced for postage. (This fee is to cover the time it takes to process & pack order, take to post office for accurate quote and then to unpack and relist stock on our website if you decide to cancel.)
The customer will be responsible and must pay any customs fees or duties if applicable in your country upon receiving your goods.
Unfortunately free shipping options are not available on International orders.
International Payments can be taken via PayPal only (which includes credit card option.)
